The Satco 80-2076,277 Volt, smooth phenolic with ring, Self-Ballasted socket adapter. This socket adapter converts your existing GU24 bi-pin fixture socket to a 18 watt 4-pin G24q-1 or GX24q-1 socket. Use this light bulb socket adapter to change your current GU 24 base socket to one that will accept a single 18 watt 4 pin quad tube (also called a dual tube or double tube) PL lamp. This socket adapter is a self-ballasted unit.
This UL Listed socket adapter integrates a Safety Design. Simply move the switch on the ballast housing to either the lock or unlock position and secure the adapter into your existing GU24 socket. This adapter is suitable for indoor use, has a reliable operating temperature range of 0-100 degrees Fahrenheit and is NOT for use with dimmers or other control devices. The height of this GU24 base socket adapter is 2.0″ MOL.
